Milwaukie Center Transportation

Busses provide transportation to and from the Center and to Fred Meyers for grocery shopping.

Getting around in later life especially if you do not drive or own a car can be difficult.

That's why the Milwaukie Center has developed a variety of ways to provide rides or put seniors and their families in touch with other organizations that do.

Call Milwaukie Center Transportation Services from 8:30 am-5:00 pm on weekdays, for more information or to arrange a ride.

As a link to help in later life, the Transportation Program offers or can refer older adults to these senior ride options:

HOW DO WE DO IT?
The Transportation Program is reliant on community partners and volunteers who understand the importance of access to services and social contact for people in later life.

You help most when you:
  • SUPPORT OUR FUND RAISING EVENTS . . .
Stock up on chocolate at our yearly Valentine and Easter candy sales! Proceeds from these and other activities directly support rides available to area seniors.
  • CONTRIBUTE WHAT YOU CAN . . .
Memorial gifts and donations-bequests, annuities or cash may be made directly to the Transportation Program and will help provide transportation to seniors who need it.
