Milwaukie Center Annual Maintenance Week

Closed the week of Sept 6, 2010

Milwaukie Center staff will be cleaning, organizing and beautifying the Center during closure week. Staff will be available by phone and Meals will be delivered Tue-Fri.

 

 

 

 

NEW! Walking with Wayne on Wednesdays 

Starting in September, 12 noon

Meet at the red sculpture located across the parking lot from the Milwaukie Center. Walk at your own pace, dress for the weather and be prepared to have fun.

 

Chair Massage

Closure Week: Annual Maintenance Week

Mon-Fri, Sept 6-10, 2010

Milwaukie Center

Milwaukie Center will be closed for maintenance during the week of Labor Day. The Center is closed for Labor Day on Sept 6 and will remain closed Sept 7-10. Staff will be on site, cleaning, painting and organizing behind the scenes. Social Services staff will be available to answer phone calls and Meals on Wheels will be delivered Tue-Fri of that week.

engAGE in Community is a community-based action project whose mission is to establish Clackamas County as an age-friendly place that supports an individual’s ability to age actively and successfully in their home or community of choice. Farewell to Summer Barbecue

The fifth annual Farewell to Summer Barbecue will take place at the Milwaukie Center. Proceeds benefit the Nutrition Program. Healthy Aging Workshop: Fall Prevention Day

Healthy Aging Workshop: Caregiver Forum

Fri, Sept 24, 10:30 am-12 noon

Milwaukie Center

Social Services staff will host this forum especially for caregivers and/or adult children of aging parents. If you fit into either of these categories, please attend this meeting as we'd like to hear about the challenges you face in care giving. We're in the process of organizing educational talks this year and would like your input.

 

Lumberjack Breakfast

Join us for the annual Lumberjack Breakfast for all-you-can-eat pancakes served with eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. North Clackamas Sunrise Rotary Club will be cutting and stacking wood for the Emergency Firewood Program. If you'd like to help, contact Marty, 503-653-8100.
